What was the one ‘spark bird’ that ignited your passion for birds or birding? What about it caught your attention?
For me it was the Black Pheobe. I had always had a casual interest in birds. I started seeing this bird a lot after moving to LA, wanting to learn more about it I started going on bird walks with the local Audubon chapters.
"Look, look! Look how it pumps its tail, Tom! It is pumping its tail. Its tail has pumped!" - a running joke between me and my birding partner.
This was a crazy pigeon that was pestering a cat, but I want to believe there are flying cats in Russia.
(via Barselonna) On a side note, you suck at cat, cat.
The cool thing is that in the first photo, the wings not only match in colour, but look as if they’re be the perfect size for a winged cat.
